Series of lectures on cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy

The Ukrainian Institute of Applied Psychology and Psychotherapy is starting a series of lectures by a specialist in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy:
May 14 - "Working with cognitions in CBT"
May 21 - "Working with emotions in CBT"
May 28 - "Skills training and thematic groups in CBT"

May 14 lecture: "Working with cognitions in CBT"
What will the lecture be about:
1. Cognitive theories underlying CBT.
2. Situational analysis of behavior.
3. Automatic thoughts, intermediate and deep beliefs.

May 21 lecture: "Working with emotions in CBT"
What will the lecture be about:
1. Development of emotional regulation.
2. Transdiagnostic work in anxiety.
3. Emotional competence training.

May 28 lecture: "Skills training and thematic groups in CBT"
What will the lecture be about:
1. History of training typology development.
2. Communication skills training.
3. Stress management training.
4. Thematic groups in CBT.

Speaker:
Olena Chumanska - candidate of medical sciences, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, psychologist.
Education in the field of psychotherapy:
1. Psychodynamic psychotherapy, group existential psychotherapy, body therapy (Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Crimean Medical University, 1992 – 1995)
2. Group psychotherapy (Academy of Postgraduate Education of Doctors, Department of Psychotherapy, Kharkiv, 1992).
3. Cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy (Department of Psychotherapy, University Clinic, Erlangen, 2004-2005, Institute of CBT and Sexology, Nuremberg, 2008-2012, Germany)
4. Body therapy (Department of Psychotherapy, University Clinic, Erlangen, 2004-2005, Germany)
5. Embodiment, psychotrauma therapy (P. Linden Course 2016 – 2017, Bremen, Germany)
6. Dialectical-behavioral therapy (since 2020, Academy of Applied Psychotherapy, Germany, head M. Bochus)
Work experience in psychotherapy - 32 years.
Head of the Crisis Psychosocial Service in Nuremberg, Germany, which works with refugees from Ukraine.

Attendees of all three lectures will receive a certificate of participation from the Ukrainian Institute of Applied Psychology and Psychotherapy.

The lectures will be held online on the Zoom platform in Russian, with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian at the request of the listeners.

Each letion separately:
UAH 800 when paid no later than 3 days before the start of the lecture;
UAH 900 after.
Package for participation in all three lectures - UAH 1,900
Recordings of lectures will be available to students within 3 weeks.
